Performing Arts (DAMS)
Oscar winner for Best Course Uniud 2018, Performing Arts combines taught lessons with a more innovative and participatory approach: the involvement of trained and qualified professionals allows the organization of regular seminars, internships, master classes, work experiences and national and international experimental projects concerning the conservation, production and promotion of audio-visual material. This intense activity is supported by its excellent lab resources, among which La Camera Ottica (restoration), Cinemantica and CREA (production and post-production) and the brand-new Digital Storytelling Lab (media education and digital humanities) are undoubtedly the highlights.
However, the achievement of such a positive approval rating is also due to the establishment of good relations with the students, who are constantly motivated to pursue their own inclinations: this gives them the opportunity to customize their training course and open themselves up to new experiences – this also applies, for example, for the rich Erasmus exchange programme.
Graduates can work within the cultural and audio-visual industry – in festivals, press offices, editorial offices of specialised press, radio or television programs, museums, production and post-production studios. They can also find employment as tech experts and creatives of media facilities.
