PRID – Progetti di Ricerca Dipartimentale
PRIDs are Research Projects developed by the members of the Department, which are then subjected to the Research Committee, in order to be evaluated by external experts. Based on the results of the evaluation, the Department itself provides the fundings to the winning applicants, by drawing on its own budget, in order to achieve ist strategic objectives for development. Thanks to the identification of DIUM as a Department of Excellence by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) in 2018, the Department could count on additional funds to be allocated – among other things – to a new cycle of departmental projects, called PRID DE (Dipartimento di Eccellenza).
