In my research on ancient Greek comedy, and especially Aristophanes, I aim to interpret the text in its global project of happiness and power, as well as in the expressive strategies which, through the complex and ambiguous contortions typical of comedy, serve this purpose.
Particular attention is given to the current political and social issues in Athens at that time, not only in order to determine their real historical background, but also to identify the constructive role of the organization of theatrical imagination.
