Digital Storytelling LAB
The Digital Storytelling LAB (DSL) is a meeting point, a space of experimentation, aggregation and training dedicated precisely to digital/multimedia storytelling and media education. Through laboratory activities, it promotes creative and critical thinking and cooperation skills, and it stands therefore as a precious local resource for learning, communicating and a sustainable innovation. Thanks to the constitution of a network of partners, the project DSL was awarded MIUR fund for "Territorial Laboratories for Employability": this partnership consists of the University of Udine, numerous high schools in Udine and its surrounding areas, coordinated by the Liceo Classico Jacopo Stellini, and various professional associations, cultural institutions and companies.
DSL takes advantage of academics, professionals, technicals operating within the University as well as in the corporate world (especially in the electronic, engineering, tech, publishing, audiovisual and graphic sectors). This great variety of training experiences is indeed one of the defining characteristics of DSL.
