Research
The objective of the Archaeology Division is to develop an innovative and interdisciplinary way to do reasearch, able to be well radicated within the territory and, at the same time, active at the national and international level. It also aim at providing an educational offer with a diversified approach, which can suit the professional needs of the Archaeologist in the framework of the new protection regulations in Italy and Europe.
Such a rich and varied education – exploiting the available laboratories to a large extent – allowed the constitution of interdisciplinary collaborations among many Department of the University, in particular with the Polytechnic Department of Engeneering and Architecture (DPIA), in order to offer a training which stands out for completeness and innovation, with positive effects also in terms of internationalisation.
