RESEARCH COMMITTEE
The Research Committee acts as coordinator for the research activities of the Department. It is allowed to make suggestions and can exercise assessment functions, as determined by the Department Council.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE
The Education Committee promotes, coordinates and organizes all courses and programmes offered by the Department. It is allowed to make suggestion concerning the management of the educational offer and can exercise assessment functions, as determined by the Department Council.

RESEARCH AREAS
Teachers and researchers of DIUM gather in eight sections, which should promote research activities by identifying effective strategies, mostly in view of a multidisciplinary approach. Every section has its own coordinator, with a one-year mandate.
